I've made something similar before, but this time I'm getting a custom inner and outer shield made thanks @aisler.net (NNNI26 for €10 off till the end of this year, plus coupon works across multiple orders!)
Write to developer-relations@aisler.net. Photos: FH Dortmund | Michael Milewski (workshop, finished Aali), FH Dortmund | Simone Arnold (board in panel). Thank you to @fhdortmund.bsky.social and Prof. Dr. Simone Arnold for sharing the story and the pictures:
Southampton's Formula Student team built their own race car dashboard. It runs at a "buttery" smooth 60 Hz, thanks to external SDRAM & a length-matched 6-layer layout.🧡 Full write-up in our community: community.aisler.net/t/sufst-cust... #FormulaStudent #PCBDesign

this unusual experiment from @aisler.net is yet another PCB capacitor - the outer layers form the driven plate which shields the inner plate formed by the inner layers from interference! (NNNI26 for €10 off similar sketchy experiments!)

@aisler.net actually managed these super thin guard traces! I used KiCAD's solder mask expansion to create them! (NNNI26 for €10 off this year on all Aisler orders!)

first project is a dielectric tester designed by a friend! the idea here is to sandwich a dielectric between the exposed copper plates with a fixed distance between them, and measure using an LCR meter at various frequencies! thanks @aisler.net

the next one is something I've been looking forward to for a while, an open-source DSOXLAN board! github.com/aewallin/DSO... thanks @aisler.net !!! (NNNI26 for €10 off this year!)

Just placed another order with @aisler.net. Quick turn low-volume PCB's like oshpark, but in Europe. So no customs hassle! €10 coupon on me: MakeInEurope-KYHFS
After the manufacturing phase, team TUG racing has been testing their new racing car since May!🏎️ One of the issues that they discovered were burnt traces on the shutdown driver. Read how they’ve solved this issue in their newest community post!🧡 #technology #hardware
Maker Days Eindhoven is next weekend, 12 & 13 Sept, 11:00 to 18:00 at the Klokgebouw on Strijp-S. Hundreds of projects and the people who built them, like an eight-metre robot made of recycled parts and an arena where self-built machines take each other apart. 😼 #MakerDays website: en.makerdays.nl/
The FreieMaker and JuniorIOT stands will have Beautiful Boards on the table, in action. 😻 Just as we did it for other events: If you need a ticket, let me know via a pm. 🧡 Already got an idea for your next electronic project? MDE26 gets you €10 off until 14 Oct at aisler.net/en
Aerospace Team Graz has developed 85 PCB's for their ISPIDA rocket. They highlight a few critical ones in their new article, such as the main flight computer, the black box and the recovery interface. Check it out to learn more about their electronics! 🧡 #technology #hardware #rocketry
Team JKU Racing has shared their learnings on managing a shared component library in our community! 🧡 One of their recommendations is to use life cycle states to show if components have been tested on real hardware. What are your tips on managing your component library? #technology #hardware
The cookie-to-business-card ratio at Maker Faire Hannover was perfect. Lovely to meet so many of you at the HCC. Waves to @blinkyparts.bsky.social, @nnnilabs.net, unsurv, Freie Maker, and the Infineon folks. #MakerFaireHannover #MFH26 #electronics #PCB #maker
A locomotive with CAN-based electronic architecture, custom PCBs and a self-developed standard to integrate new modules. 🚄 That's what team Loc.KA engineering is developing for the European Railway Challenge! Want to know more about their project? Check it out here! 🧡 #technology #hardware
Team Solaride has developed a new communications PCB for their solar car. They designed a four-layer PCB in Altium, with an ESP32-S3 and two audio codecs with built-in ADCs and DACs. Want to know the specifics of their project? Read their latest post in our community! 🧡 #hardware #technology

New PCB from @aisler.net. Had to flatten the stencil first (thanks DHL premium), but it soldered fine in the end. Now to test if everything works using it with the 360x360 qspi display.

RIP the €150 duty-free parcel. Now it's a flat €3 per tariff heading (not per parcel!). No pre-clearance? The carrier fronts it and catches you at the door. DHL's fee: €7.50 extra. 🙃 Good news: There's nothing to charge if it never leaves EU. 🇪🇺 Your AISLER orders are not affected. 🧡 #PCB #MadeInEu
