Airglow has a new brand 🎨 We worked with a brand designer to give it a proper identity and a more polished feel. New logo, refreshed site, updated everywhere. Long time coming. Really happy with where it landed

Airglow is hosted on Railway, which disclosed on Oct 21 that customer environment variables may have been exposed. As a precaution, we rotated all our keys. You’ll need to sign in again, but your automations keep running

Syncing social graphs started as an automation on Airglow. People used it, so i knew it was worth doing properly. But no backfill, and unfollows were a pain. Automations are powerful, but not always easy to set up. Follow sync is: pick your apps, turn it on, done 🙌 airglow.run/sync

Social graph sync is live 🔄 Keep your follows in sync across Bluesky, Tangled, Sifa, Grain and Semble. Follow once, it's mirrored everywhere, and people who join an app later get followed when they show up. Turn it on from your profile: airglow.run/sync

If somebody else would like to easily and quickly save all Tangled Stars to Semble, using the *permalink* (so the link won't break if the account changes handle or if the repo name changes) I gotchu airglow.run/u/vicwalker.... You can easily change the collection or get rid of the last step

Airglow's automation engine got a big rework. Automations are now composed of steps you can arrange in any order: conditions, loops, fetches, variables, and actions. Two highlights: real if/else branching, and loops that can chain several steps per item. 🧵

Everything shares one data model now. Any step can expose a named output, and later steps reference it with {{name.field}} placeholders. Each step's editor shows exactly which placeholders are available at that point in the flow.

Try it at airglow.run. New automations can run in dry-run mode: all the logic executes and results are logged, but no side effects until you flip it live. If you build on the AT Protocol, we'd love to see what you wire up.

If/else, for real this time. A condition can act as a simple gate (no match ends the run) or branch into then/else paths that rejoin the flow. Assertions get typed operators based on each field's schema, and combine with all/any matching.

Loops got stronger too. A loop runs its nested steps once per item in an array, like every link facet on a post. And those steps now chain: fetch a record, check a condition, then fire an action, all inside the same iteration.

Something new lands this week. Airglow has a fresh look and a rebuilt homepage, with the same idea at its core: automations for the AT Protocol. An event fires → send a webhook, write a record, or post to Bluesky. airglow.run 👀

Airglow can now send you notifications 📲 Powered by @atmo.pub, so your automations can ping you the moment something happens

Second: the ones Airglow sends on its own. If an automation starts failing, gets disabled, or needs you to sign in again, you'll know right away. No more silently broken automations.

We just shipped the "Collect links" action. It pulls every link out of a record, no matter where it's buried, so you can bookmark, save, or forward them anywhere. Full thread below bsky.app/profile/ther...

I just fixed a long standing issue in Airglow. One of the most popular things people automate: "when I like a post on Bluesky, save the links in it" to @kipclip.com, @margin.at, @semble.so.
