Scream Fest is LIVE and ASYLUM joins with a 46% off! Also, livestream announced for Friday 30th, 10 AM PST: store.steampowered.com/news/app/230... Playing: - Scratches: The Last Visit - Risk Profile - ASYLUM (with trivia!) Plus, a special surprise you won't see coming 👀 Don't miss it!

Someone started decompiling Scratches with AI. Please don't. Stop burning trees. I like trees. I'll leak the damn code if that's what it takes.

Guys, seriously, let’s go back to IRC channels.

PSA: The latest NVIDIA App update adds a Default-ON option that allows AI Agents to control the app... Might want to turn it off.. Even aside from being lame AI features, that feels like making security even worse by defaulting it ON.

Perhaps next year I can announce my DOS game too, a side-project developed in Turbo Pascal and Assembler using the graphics mode 10h from Dark Seed.

By my reckoning, we're only 18 games away from 2026 having as many new #msdos releases as 2025. If you like DOS, and you like #gamedev, and you want to see DOS become a more popular indie game target year after year, the MS-TRES jam awaits: itch.io/jam/ms-tres

We're wrapping up an internal demo to seek funding for our next adventure. Sort of an "Argentinian Scratches", both in terms of look and feel, yet full 3D this time. No AI anywhere to be seen. No more fetuses either, promise. I'm really happy with how it looks. Wish us luck.

NEW: Epic Games has delayed its upcoming (not yet announced) Star Wars + Marvel shooter as it pivots to complete AI game development. "No more hand-written code," a director told staff. All art "generated with full AI workflows." Full scoop: www.bloomberg.com/news/article...

Dandrew and I streamed this one last year and it is well worth your time and money!

It's spooky season and ASYLUM arrives to Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5 and Xbox this October, 30! 😱 The game has been localized to Chinese and Japanese thanks to our partners at SOEDESCO, with physical editions coming too 💪 More details in our Steam update: store.steampowered.com/app/230210/A...

And a far more eclectic selection. Let's call this the anti-top-9, but I guarantee you that I spent many, many hours playing this stuff.

Congratulations Richard, so cool to finally see your baby out in the wild!

Nighthawks! It's out! Please buy and like it! That is the best marketing slogan my tired brain can come up with right now! store.steampowered.com/app/1221950/...

Fun fact: after Quake (1996) and Anchorhead (1998) the longest period in our industry without openly Lovecraftian games began. Nearly 8 years. This odd streak was finalized by 2 games released within a timespan of 2 months: Dark Corners of the Earth (2005) and Scratches (2006).

With Shadow of the Comet arriving in pristine condition, the short-lived series of "official" Lovecraft graphic adventures is now complete. Flawed as they were, still memorable games that I fondly revisit from time to time. Physical media never says die! 💪

Announcing my 90s Fantasy Adventure Epic ⚔️ The Telwynium ⚔️ is coming to Steam! store.steampowered.com/app/2818820/... 🧙 Go play the Demo (Book 1 - Winter's Dawn) right now!

Scratches is coming to ScummVM! First step is to reimplement its original teaser from 2003, notoriously in "slideshow" format when not even music was planned. This one may be ready shortly, and bigger features are being planned for the actual game 🤩
