The Muppet Christmas Carol is great because Michael Caine treats the Muppets like riveting guns, and Muppet Treasure Island is great because Tim Curry treats himself like a Titleist golf bag.

Ebenezer looks like the opposite of the Muppet Christmas Carol. Everyone else is acting sincerely, and then here comes Scrooge bein’ a goofy little scamp.
