Antisemitism is real - which is one reason why the administration's cynical invocations of antisemitism to attack universities and higher education is so gross.
[The arrested Harrisburg man] said he was “angry with the governor and would have beaten him with a hammer if confronted, according to an affidavit filed early Monday.” He has since been charged with attempted murder, aggravated arson, terrorism and other charges. www.cnn.com/2025/04/14/u...

Serious question: why are legitimate news outlets still attending these things?
REPORTER: President Trump looks healthier than ever before. I'm sure everybody in this room could agree. Is he working out with Bobby Kennedy and is he eating less McDonald's? LEAVITT: I can confirm the president is in very good shape

When I was a Big Law associate, I was somewhat intimidated by the partners I worked with. Almost universally, they were intense and serious people. But now I see I mistook many of them for fearless leaders, when in reality, they were feckless, money-grubbing cowards.
As Trump demands $125m in services from top grossing law firms, his attacks seem to be morphing from punitive bills of attainder, aimed at perceived enemies, to a broader, mob-style, protection racket. www.nytimes.com/2025/04/10/u...

Kidnapping. Capturing a person against their will without due process is called kidnapping. Transporting them to another country without due process is called human trafficking. A squalid extrajudicial prison for people found guilty of no crime is called a concentration camp.
stop calling things deportation just because they call it deportation. -You cannot legally deport people without due process. -You cannot legally deport citizens. -They are defining down deportation to break the law.

For all the talk of Trump having his pulse on the sentiments of American people, I think this is the kind of thing that reveals that, in fact, he doesn’t.
BREAKING: Attorney General Pam Bondi has directed prosecutors to seek the death penalty for Luigi Mangione, the man charged with murder in connection to the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson last year.

NEW: When President Biden issued an executive order to expand voter registration, Republicans called it an illegal Washington power grab. Now, the GOP is lauding President Trump's move to transform election laws by coercing states and bypassing Congress.

They’ll never accept it, but everyone who cast a vote for Donald Trump did real, generations-long damage to the United States and the west in exchange for essentially nothing of value.
Carney: "The old relationship we had with the United States based on deepening integration of our economies and tight security and military cooperation is over."

JFC the chutzpah of this guy. He's STILL trying to brazen it out. Sounds like maybe he got a little too used to performing for an audience that believes whatever it's told. The idea that the info in that thread wouldn't have been classified is laughable. It's not just false; it's absurd.
When I worked at NATO, benign details about war game *simulations* were classified, much less particulars about actual attacks. The idea that this info wouldn't have been classified is a total fantasy (and an outright lie).

Witkoff was a fool for joining that chat from Moscow. But the entire charlatan national security team also chose to put him on that chat when they knew (or should have known) that he was in Moscow. A spy novel based on this level of cretinous behavior would be unbelievable.
If they’re sharing highly classified military plans over Signal while some of the folks on the thread are overseas, what *else* are they doing?
