Let's build a technology so powerful it can end civilization, but don't worry, we'll run it in a sandbox we vibe coded so it can't read your email.

Sports fans, we see you! โšฝ๐Ÿ€๐ŸŽ๏ธ From #f1 to #nba, #cricket to #football, #kicks to #nflโ€”we've got channels for every sport. Game day just got more social. #TorcCommunity #TorcDiscord

Hot Take: Bring back the times when we use to network in the industry with people to become friends/build relationships rather than try to take advantage of them to see what they could do for you ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿพโ€โ™‚๏ธ

What makes MCP appealing is the adoption of existing technologies, including JSON-RPC, to close a feature gap, mainly the need to fetch external data and call other tools. The ability to build extensions and integrations using existing technologies is the big win in my opinion.

The more I dig into generative AI from the prospective of a retired person, the less I want to be involved, or make use of the tools. I want to focus on using my own model of the world to contribute to society for as long as possible.

If you have to whiteboard or solve coding problems, use the PREP method. - Parameters: What inputs are expected? - Returns: Whatโ€™s the expected output? - Examples: Provide test cases - Pseudocode: Write the steps/plan in English Clarity is more important than speed. Talk & show your thinking.

To answer behavioral questions, use the CAR method. - Cause: At my last role, we faced X problemโ€ฆ - Action: I took these steps to solve itโ€ฆ - Result: Because of my actions, we achieved Xโ€ฆ Keep it to 3 sentences. Be confident, now is not the time to be humble.

!checkin for Class 34 of #100Devs. This continued on from the previous class with information about preparing for the job hunt. It focused on networking & passing behavioral & technical interviews for software engineer roles. #webdev #jobhunt

One of the mistakes Iโ€™ve made early in my tech career was constantly switching between programming languages and not going in depth with the fundamentals in the programming concepts (HTTPS/APIs, Databases, Authentication/Authorization, Architecture Patterns, Security, Performance, testing etc)

Want to get your first job in tech? Make sure you are: - building projects - writing code - learning the actual concepts - Letting those fingers dance on that keyboard! YouTube videos are great, but finished projects you can discuss can help open doors.
