Really simplifying things and donated the big PC that ran my arcade cab. It's now a much smaller 13 year old point of sale system

The tv on the left is the heaviest I've ever carried and I've lifted 36 inch CRT TVs...I know it's probably not heavier but it definitely makes the bigger one on the right feel like a third of the weight and even it's overweight for it's size. The wood and glass and steel casing makes a difference!!

While testing out some joypads on the controller PCB modded PAL #snes, I found out 2 of the buttons of the SF1 joypad were not working or continuously firing. Opened it up and I guess we now know why. Going to clean it up a bit and replace the rubber. #retrorevival #superfamicom

Found this clone Xbox 360 controller at thrift. Thought if anything I could use the back from it to fix a broken one. I noticed the dpad on this clone is good. Opened it to find semi circle contacts which I like! Buttons were mashing down pretty bad tho so added some shims. It's pretty ok to use now

on a more positive note, one of the last things that brings me any joy on these social media platforms is everyone who is doing their thing. making games, drawings, music, whatever. just keep pushing forward, dunno what the future holds but we won't know unless we try good night :)

It's NES day, and also my 10th wedding anniversary. No I did not plan it that way. If you wanna get me a gift, all I want is for you to watch this if you haven't, it took me 15 years to make.

I like making little improvements to clone consoles. Like the av jacks usually have screw holes that can be used to secure them better but no holes through the shell to fasten them to. I'll drill those holes and add the screws if I'm in there.

I dug out the old Game Genie for NES. I have 2 of them, thankfully one works! Then used a code to make my weapons twice as strong in Ghosts and Goblins and the game is still hard as!

Just finished a Game Gear build for a customer and now that I’ve seen it in person I really want to get this shell/color combo for my personal one 😍 It has a new screen and dual stereo speaker setup. Arrived completely toast and in rough shape, happy to save another 👍

I can get all the way here with my armour them the devil, the frog, the fireball and the boss all kill me or make me have to restart the whole game all over

So after having friends over and gaming on this LCD display, they are requesting next time to play on Crt again and with WIRED controllers lol
