I can write better code than the llms the llms are better at finding out why the login filter started making weird redirects in some cases after migrating spring security to the next release inasmuch as the job involves coding rather than wrangling third-party APIs, we are ok question is, does it
"I will not touch anything with ai-generated code" is going to mean, in pretty short order, "I will not touch software" this is just functionally what software development is now and it's only going to accelerate from here
the interesting detail here is that just as I started to notice consistent failures in my attempts to blend into elementary school societal structure, I managed to shunt into the environment where I was decidedly on the lower level of weirdness scale (the country's leading math magnet school)
QUESTION OF THE DAY: This sounds like a joke question, but it isn’t. If it doesn’t apply to you, fine. But it’s a serious question with different levels of meaning. And I am genuinely curious. When did you first realize you were weird?
even at 15, when I first read the book, I was appalled at the cruelty of manipulation, at that time and in that place, whatever her inner motivation for this was (and I was much more willing to grant her the assumption of good faith then than I am now)
Irene's passive-aggressive parenting: after all the 🚫 on Fleur - "my most darling boy, don't think of me--think of yourself." And the poignancy: "All love and life, and joy, anxiety, and sorrow, all movement, light and beauty, but a beginning to this terrible white stillness." #ForsyteSaga26
there is this old russian joke: "ivan, come quick, I caught a bear!" "well, drag him here!" "he won't go!" "then come here yourself!" "he won't let me!'
Trump, who clearly feels he isn't getting enough attention this morning, lies that "the U.S.A. has total control over over the Strait of Hormuz. I THINK WE WILL KEEP IT! ... Praise be to Allah!" Completely demented.
the white house visit curse is already fully operational, and they're buying themselves into another one to complement it? all right, bold move, I'll give them that
man I don’t think it’s at all correct - e.g. the Brewers could’ve beaten this and chose not to - but if the Dodgers threepeat after this a whole lot of baseball fans are going to take the owners’ side in the lockout next year it blows
the third book is the biggest nobel-prize-winning "they fuck you up your mom [of the boy] and dad [of the girl]" extended commentary ever
him! And tbf, Irene seems, albeit loving, but nevertheless distant parent - in keeping with her lack of interiority b/c G can't describe her? - as does Jolyon, whereby the child knows "that he played second fiddle to [his mother] in his father's heart." I'm not fond of this kid. #ForsyteSaga26
Not that we needed all that for the trip, but once you get locked into a serious drug collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can.
The party's inventory has increased by 1 repaired car, 3 bottles of prescribed stimulants, 72 cans of Diet Dr Pepper (on sale!) and a panoply of miscellaneous foods
karma is a pink-balaclavaed bitch www.france24.com/en/live-news... go get yourself some roubles, assholes if you can
my thought would be that this outburst seems to legitimize 1. soames's "not unnatural" urge for a child and 2. irene being the "not unnatural" means of obtaining it unless/until there's another way (having one outside marriage) (although "partizanship" here is on irene's side, it doesn't help much)
Why does Jolyon think that June's proposal that Soames have a child with someone thus allowing Irene to divorce him and then he can marry the other woman "partizanship" that's "fighting Soames's battle"? Wouldn't it put Soames in a bad light, not Irene? #ForsyteSaga26
"klara" is about the exact same thing as "never let me go" where is the human soul located the answer is the same in both books (not inside; we have souls if other humans agree that we do) and I'd say the writer's skill in elaborating on this theme is about the same?
"Klara & the Sun" is very low on my list of Ishiguro novels. This trailer is very unlike "Klara and the Sun." So, is that a wash, or a double-fault? Lyonne, Ortega, & Adams are all always great. Waititi is sometimes great, sometimes awful. Ishiguro adaptations are sometimes great, sometimes awful.
hiq societies (starting from triple nine and up) are a fascinatingly toxic blend of theories of everything, personal vendettas going back decades, and creating competing iq tests designed to discriminate at giga levels
Stephen Hawking was asked about his IQ once and said "I have no idea. People who boast about their IQ are losers."
