He lies. He lifted Russia sanctions 2/2/2017! Since Jan 20 2025, the US has imposed no new sanction on Russia, and no new aid for Ukraine. Since then Trump has relieved several sanctions from Russian oligarchs, and companies, and closed the agencies that were countering Russian schemes and crimes.
