Wasn’t the Albanian hotel deal also hit with allegations of forged documents? Boy, you forge a couple of Electoral College votes and get away with it, and then I guess you just can’t stop.
Here is some of our coverage of this failed hotel project in Serbia that led to protests against Vucic.... www.nytimes.com/2025/05/14/u...

If this doesn't make every pro-democracy resident of Georgia, Republican/Democrat/Independent/Other, "get up on their hind legs" (as the Southern saying goes) and VOTE FOR OSSOF, there's something really broken about their ideas of right and wrong.
“You know there’s a big difference when a president likes the people representing a state. Like, Collins could call me any time he wants,” Trump said. 'I shouldn’t say that': Trump makes startling admission about Georgia if his pick loses. www.rawstory.com/trump-georgi...

Prediction: In 10-20 years, all those kids who went to private school on the state dime will get a quality education, enough to get them good jobs way the hell out of Tennessee. The kids left, forced to attend broken, practically unfunded public schools, will be lucky to have any success in life.

Airships as an alternative to Starlink, for remote access to the internet? Oh hell yeah. It's only a trial, but it was month-long trial, with 9000+ mile trip to send an airship to act like a floating cell tower over Japan, dodging typhoons and recharging via solar. arstechnica.com/gadgets/2026...
OMG I've been waiting for something like this!! As to Musk, the best strategy pro-democracy can go for right now is to MAKE HIM IRRELEVANT.

Right-wing billionaires now own the Washington Post, the LA Times, CNN, CBS News, virtually every local TV station, virtually every news radio station, most local newspapers, X, Facebook, Threads, and TikTok. (Did I miss any?) They own almost the entire information environment.
Note: TikTok - 15% owned by Musk pal Larry Ellison - permanently banned our "Musk" the movie account on the platform. www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/politic...

New from me: Michael Lewis provides a timely reminder that even the heroic federal employees who tried to block DOGE grifters could only do so much. If DOGE could not be stopped at the time, accountability must be on the agenda for the future. 🧵 donmoynihan.substack.com/p/blockers-a...
“'Just how many people do you want [IRS] information on?' asked Kathleen. [ICE staff discussed] between themselves before agreeing [on] 7 million. They wanted current addresses of 7 million undocumented workers who paid their taxes. The most law-abiding, it turned out, might be the easiest to catch”
Excerpts from Michael Lewis on DOGE (Guardian article). 1. Gavin Kliger, white nationalist, refused to shake hands with the Black IRS staffer who briefed him on privacy issues. Or pay attention. Kliger now has a defense start-up valued at 1.4B thanks to DOGE. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026...

The funny thing is Axelrod later on emphasizes how disgusted voters are with Washington corruption. So why shouldn't Jackson attack Collins, whose corruption @propublica has blown up? My bet is Axelrod and Collins are friendly and he can't get past that relationship.
