I wish I could go back to 2020 or so just so I could tell Jets fans about how Sam Darnold was destined to be a Super Bowl quarterback.

Jets fan here. I'm not surprised by any of this. Woody Johnson is a terrible owner running a shifty organization. It will stay that way until he sells the team. I'll be rooting for Sam on the 8th.

Or the Vikings, who chose an injured, unproven QB who they for some weird reason thought was the second coming of Tom Brady instead of keeping Darnold at the end of last season.

It's your coaching staff who can't develop a young quarterback. Look at the Browns 12 starting quarterbacks in 6 years really its the coaching staff who can't develop talent to the next level

I'd like to do the same here in Minnesota to just last year. I tried to tell whoever would listen J.J. McCarthy doesn't have the tools to be more than a serviceable backup. But apparently, I'm just an Old Fart shouting at the clouds...😂

Good for him, I hope they win, but he's only in the super bowl because the 49ers got decimated by injuries and piss poor, pre-season player management. Otherwise they'd be on the way to the super bowl. Go Hawks though since I refuse to root for Pats, even if Brady is just announcing now.

You mean the way they draft (or sign) a quarterback and don't/can't develop that quarterback, in 3 years, or 6 games, before deciding that that quarterback "doesn't have it?"

From what I've seen for the last, oh 30 years or so, letting go of someone is the very best thing the Jets could do for them. It doesnt always work out away form the Jets, but it certainly never works out with them.

Not every problem is a Jet’s created problem; but it takes a special kind of person to even be able to withstand the stench of the franchise (been a fan 30+ years). Normally talented individuals can succeed in a normal environments.

The problem with Darnold was not Darnold. But the Jets organization. Bad ownership. Bad from the top down to the HC. I though Glenn would be an improvement. Still can't decide if Glenn is a good HC or if it the organization. May never know.

You'd go back to 2020 and that's what you'd tell people?! There's nothing else you'd want to inform people about if given that opportunity?! No other information you'd like to drop off while there?! 🤦🏼‍♂️😆

The big difference is that Seattle is a complete team. They work together great. They complement each other- offense, defense, and special teams. Darnold is able to do his job because of the team. It’s been amazing to watch! 12 as one! Go, Hawks! 💙💚

As a Jets fan, it was never going 2 happen w/the Jets. Many Jet fans believed Darnold had talent, but we haven’t been able 2 develop a QB or build an O-Line 2 protect said QB 4 over 20 yrs. I’m happy 4 Sam. He’s worked hard 2 get here. Jets r going 3 draft another QB & likely never develop him.
