Had someone comment that $30 headshot was too much, so once again I post this.

Not going to lie, I feel like I get 0 coms because my prices are higher than average and I'm smol artist still but like it takes me days, sometimes weeks to finish a piece when you consider all the steps I put into making something worth putting out there.

It's a complex process, and done with care! Your time, skills, etc should all be compensated for the service you provide. Sometimes it's finding a couple different things that have different price points to serve different people, but they should be paying you appropriately, for sure!

Broadening my horizons is my current goal. I got the chance to sit beside some friends at DenFur and try to sell some prints of more broadly appealing pieces. Unfortunately a lot of what's really selling at cons are stickers and pins which don't work great for my usual style uwu.
