On one hand, we're insanely lucky to have this 4k offer. On the other hand, the timeline of "today or never" feels impossible. That 50k bill will result in my family losing their home, if not more. That isn't survivable for the person that just had this surgery. We're beyond stressed out. x_x

If this looks like extortion, it kinda is. It's American healthcare. The quoted 50k is standard for the neurosurgery that took place. The 4k is a personal offer from the facility, in recognition of our struggles. If we fail to pay 4k, the bill goes to their corporate office. They refuse to budge.

Things just got way worse. My family's surgery went well, but they found further damage that ratcheted the price up to $50,000. Either we pay 4k in cash today, or get billed the full amount. We're short 3500. Please help. We can't survive that bill. Quite literally. ko-fi.com/gunnywaffle
