About the latest shenanigans from Google: Our team has been disabling stuff from Chromium since the first version of Vivaldi. We've also been very outspoken about our dislike of the built-in AI trend in the browser industry, so yes, we disable all Gemini-related features in our code. ✌️

Waitaminit. Google dumped AI stuff into Chromium, not just Chrome proper?? That's dirty.

I find it funny the the biggest feature that made me use Vivaldi is the lack of certain features :)

What about the "keystone" malware - is it still a thing at google?

I hope one day you'll get enough funding to hire staff that would maintain your own Chromium fork. Yes, I'm serious. Given what Google is doing, you're slowly getting to a point you also have to "fix" what they do, and I wonder if it's still worth drinking from that source.
