You know what. You are correct. That was childish of me. I apologize for calling Jay a bitch. The Singal issue has been a hot button topic for a bit and it comes off really badly how Jay responded to someone asking about it.

There's the substance of the signal issue, and then there's the pattern of behavior that jay was responding to -- the constant, _constant_ off topic responses that make this tedious. On the substance, it's really just that the guy didn't violate the ToS. I'm sorry, that's just it

Thanks for being open about that issue. But the thing is, trans folks are dealing with a lot right now (specially in the US/UK) and have plenty of good reasons to be worried I think they just want some reassurance that this is a safe place for them and the Bsky team has not shown any signs of that.

I think the unfortunate reality is that they have to *make* that safe place. Trusting any corporation — no matter now noble its mission — to provide it is doomed to fail. The upside is that Bluesky/ATproto provides lots of tools to that effect. People just need to use them.
