Dear Media: Blindly quoting the President without fact-checking or context is just misinformation with a press pass. We don’t need stenographers; we need journalists. Do your job.

It's the reason that almost all mainstream media has been bought by rich & powerful people, then either muzzled, broken up, or turned into propaganda outlets. Journalism is being disenpowered and suppressed to prevent truth from destroying the elite's lies. We need more truth, not less.

Yes, and that’s what makes it so disgusting They want to pretend like they’re some sort of 4th Estate They sold out years ago They’re nothing but head-nodding note takers and teleprompter readers

Yup. For profit news is a failure. Even nyt ownership has been bad, pushing anti vaccine bs, anti trans bs, among other things, and the anti-trans bs was all the way from the top confirmed.

The structure of our government favors minority rule and allows for gerrymandering and suppression. Yes, we have about 35-40% of the population who are objectively awful, but a lot of people can't vote or don't feel like it would make any difference.

There’s a lot to unpack here but I only have 300 chars. A minority of Americans voted for him This is not just one man or one election it’s many that are allowing it Wealth is allowed to have undue influence on our politicians We have a political duopoly Our systems are not fine

I dunno. There's still suggestions him and Musk hijacked the data to change votes, but who can prove it when those with the power to investigate and prosecute are all in on it?

I have been done with corporate media and most of the people I know refuse to watch them as well. "First time shame on them second time shame on you" many of them are just regurgitating what ever this admin tells them to say.

🎯 May was well be "State Owned" media. NY Times continues to sane wash, normalize. WaPo is LONG gone. But they ALL do it now, don't they. Need to take a page from Hungary, and shut that shite DOWN.

Years ago, we realized they were only going to “report” on what the Orange Felon dictated. Disengage, don’t subscribe to or watch MSM. We only look at independent media.

Right-wing fascists already control the mainstream media in the USA. They've taken notes from Orban's playbook. Meanwhile, Hungarians ousted Orbán, who had the media under his total control, by sidestepping it and using alternative ways to spread the word.

And why don't you ever ask him the hard questions? If he says something insane or untrue, follow up with some pointed, hard questions. Don't just write down what he said and leave.

Also, MSM, call for Trump’s resignation and for him to be jailed for being a child rapist. You know - like you did with Biden for just being old. Are you just puppets to big corps or are you cowardly, immoral muppets? Pathetic either way. You are ruining your own country for that monster. Dumbo’s.

The reason the unprofessional media does this is because the media execs are heavily redacted in the TrumpStein Files as part of the quid pro quo to do so. In the end all the media and oil executives who provided aid and comfort and propaganda for the Trump Regime need to be held accountable.

Our MSM is all Russian State/National Enquirer shit and has been, remember when we thought it was just Fox Spews that was the problem? Options for the straight scoop are to watch the news from overseas networks or independent media like Meidas Touch or similar, otherwise don’t bother.

Lying and misinformation are not transparency. Worse, what Trump does and what our media quotes without context or fact-checking is spreading disinformation. Our local Phoenix channels do this for Trump all the time now. We are North Korea.

"The President makes decisions. He's the decider. The press secretary announces those decisions, and you people of the press type those decisions down. Make, announce, type. Just put 'em through a spell check and go home." — Stephen Colbert, 2006 WHCD.

Trump just wrapped up a disastrous speech at a TPUSA event. He started by lying about a supposed deal with Iran, claiming, “We have now secured the Strait of Hormuz. It is ours.” He also said the U.S. and Iran would be excavating nuclear sites together to collect “nuclear dust.” None of it is true.

Republicans passed a Law to DEREGULATE media Ownership laws. Now America has a political party bowing to a felon's threats. CBS is the worst offender taking off Late Night with Stephen Colbert, because Trump didn't like the jokes. US needs a President that works, not watches TV and tweets lies.

For constitutional reasons, the Fairness Doctrine can't apply to any form of media other than broadcast tv & radio stations (i.e., FCC licensees). And if brought back, it would face an immediate court challenge. When that case reaches the Supreme Court it would be a safe bet that the Court would

overturn its 1969 decision deeming it constitutional as to broadcast. What do you think that the Fairness Doctrine did that would be beneficial in dealing with the problems we are having with the media?

The same goes for tv and radio. PLEASE stop playing non stop sound bites of him screaming about whatever upset him that day. How about just quoting him, or only using sound clips when they are really necessary. His voice is just stress inducing.

They can put a summary up and refer people to their website to see the direct quote or video clip. All they do is feed his ego by plastering his face and voice as much as possible on the American People. I personally hit the mute button the minute his lips start to move. It is less stressful.

The Owners (who are also Trump's supporters) will not let them. Any journalist with integrity, either, never get positions with the MSM or have been removed long ago

There is a reason we call them the media in the United States. The media is only interested in revenue, clicks, eyeballs. The north star for the press is the truth. American media has forgotten that, or just doesn’t give a damn any longer.

Too much is expected here. He refuses to accept any suggestions. God forbid you dare to insist on facts verified by 'independent' sources. If he ever owns a mistake of misquote, you better be packed & ready to hit the road! Armageddon is forthcoming!

How can anyone believe any information that comes out of America, when just about all the media is owned by ultra conservative oligarchs. Maybe it’s time for Americans to take a good look at themselves in the mirror and admit that they are not the greatest nation on earth, far from it. 🤔

When the President himself writes on his social media site: “I am willing to risk the giving up of my Rights and Privileges as a Citizen for our Great Military and Country!” That should give us all pause. And yet - it’s not a story, just part of the noise. Stunning where things are.

The uncritical, almost propagandist, performance of the MSM in reporting on this evil, corrupt, criminal administration is a blackmark against journalists from which they may never recover. Forget blaming the oligarch media owners, blame the journos who won't defend their own integrity.

People need to ask the press sec, and others, "What do you want people to believe about XYZ..." .. since that's the only answer you're going to get from them, might as well frame it properly.

I recall, when SHS was press sec, there was a period of time when she would prefix pretty much every statement with "The president believes..." Seemed a way of saying "not ME lying here...". But I think he made her stop after a couple of months of that.

The U.S. media has been engaging in misinformation from the jump. For accurate news, you must watch news coverage from overseas.

Dear Media: I will give my life savings for whom ask trump "Is it true that your brother Freddy had to dump a bowl of mashed potatoes onto his head because he wouldn't stop teasing his younger brother Robert after refusing to do so by both of his parents?" Thank you Jen

They’re doing exactly their job In the U.S., the airwaves are public, but broadcast news is run by private, for-profit companies under FCC public-interest requirements. The FCC is currently chaired by this f#ck’g guy 👇 #SomethingSomethingHead
