I hope you point out that "less lethal" munitions still kill people, deploying chemical weapons on civilians is a war crime and has been used as justification for regime change on a number of occasions, and that ICE are operating outside any legal authority.

Wild how its not federal agents that are doing the clashing? Outlining the protestors as the aggressors at the beginning of your title allows justification for agents shooting and harming citizens. If a protestor shot a less than lethal round at police, they'd be shot dead. Maybe write for Fox?

Is clashed the new definition for “fired on people exercising their First Amendment protected rights?” Words matter. Do better.

Who is doing what to whom? You have the ability to get the headline in better shape. For example, the notion here of "clash" isn't doing much. On Seinfeld, third-person Jimmy says, "Jimmy and misunderstanding kinda clash." On TV that's funny, here it isn't.

It's not the Somalis as much as it's Walz. Himself is terrified Tim will run for president and is looking for ways to control & embarrass him. He always knows he will never measure up to any decent person. Even before he unzips. #YouCantProveMeWrong

ICE attacked protestors, who were non-violently standing up for the rights of everyone—including the ICE agents who attacked them, and the fourth estate (that would be you) Do better MN star tribune, there's a lot riding on getting this moment in our history right. Like, everything.

Remember when protesting, bring water, traffic cones (contain the tear gas canisters), leaf blowers (blow the gas back at them). And stay safe. And once it gets below freezing again, make those walkways icy; ICE doesn’t do well on ice.

Well yes, it is only "less lethal" when used in a specific, narrow way described on its packaging. And... nothing in its construction prevents it from being used in "more lethal" ways. Which makes the whole concept a bit shaky.

Who clashed with whom? Who are the instigators here? If DHS stopped its invasion of the cities, then the protesters would go away. If the protestors stopped their protests, then DHS would brutalize even more people. Stop blaming the helpers.

You mean: the Gestapo violently attacked a group exercising their constitutional rights, using chemical weapons so dangerous they are prohibited under the Geneva conventions for use in war.

a "clash" is 2 sides fighting the protestors were not fighting - the ICE agents were fighting the protestors therefore, the protestors were not "clashing" with anyone and you should correct your headline

I understand the logic, and I guess it is better than the obviously false “non-lethal,” but “less-lethal munitions” is a ridiculous phrase. Are people who die when hit with them 50% less dead? 75%?

Fun fact time from Canada! Did you know that during the truckers convoys large vehicles such as RVs, farm equipment and semi trucks parked at strategic chokepoints brought infrastructure such as borders, bridges and downtown areas to a screeching halt? This has no legal relevance to current issues.

Your protestors were OUTSIDE agitators trying to impede the lives of locals to promote an anti-public health position. Our protesters are members of the COMMUNITY trying to EXPEL the outside agitators threatening their wellbeing. Your goal was disruption of community. Ours is return to normalcy.

My point was that your "tactic" (disruption of normal city life) is the exact thing we are fighting AGAINST. Why are you citing you previous post about "values can be different but effectiveness is the same" when I just told you this tactic would be the OPPOSITE of "effective" for us?

When you can't tell the difference between a stormtrooper attack on a major American city from an alien attack in "War of the Worlds", you might have fascism. #AbolishICE

Yeah, about those "chemical irritants" - let me pass on what a friend of mine (with a PhD in inorganic chemistry) said about just one of them, "green gas". bsky.app/profile/siam...

A 🧵re protective masks for ICE protesters (in Minneapolis MN and elsewhere). I am not a scientist, but my BF has a PhD in inorganic chemistry and provided this info to me so I could provide it to you. Please share and re-post it widely. It may save someone, esp. from green gas ICE is using (1/x)

Patriots clashed with Nazi occupying forces for another night outside the Whipple Federal Building which holds American citizens to be deported without due process. Gestapo jackboots fired rubber bullets and deployed chemical weapons into the crowd. Fixed the headline for you.

#MPD #FreyFAIL @mayorjacobfrey.bsky.social claims they've had to spend $2,000,000,000 to respond to #ICE actions in #MN. #MPLS has 600 officers. So, that = $3,333,333 PER OFFICER. WHAT THE FUCK FOR?! #POLICE #refuse to intervne & NOT ONCE have they prevented nor arrested #fuckICE for assaults.

Here, try this headline: "State Terror Organization I.C.E Attacks Peaceful Protestors Outside Concentration Camp, Fires Crowd-Control Rounds And Chemical Munitions At Civilians"
