The Magician's Nephew was always my favourite Narnia book, because of the glimpse it gave us of the big weird magical universe beyond the cozy kings-and-talking-animals world of Narnia. Looks like this is going to capture some of that magical weirdness! www.youtube.com/watch?v=gDJ-...

Honestly I can't help feeling like any film series that follows this and confines itself to Narnia is going to be dull by comparison.

Actually you know what, give me a Narnia series but also give me an original spin-off TV show about a new bunch of kids exploring the Wood Between the World and visiting a different weird magic universe each episode.

It was always my favorite too, and I an understand why later editions of the series where shuffled into chronological order because there's a lot of ho-hum to get through before reaching what was originally the sixth book.
