That will be another 🖕from Ukraine, just like the last one. 🙄 Ukraine's assets aren't for sale and ownership of such assets aren't held by the Government, it's held by the people of Ukraine, as stated the last time the US tried this crap.

Why should France and the UK - or any other European country for that matter - risk its soldiers and equipment in order to protect minerals which the US extorted from Ukraine? That sounds like freeloading to me.

What strikes me is the aggressive nature and tone of the Trump administration. These are not America's values. Furthermore, anything that doesn't fit this tempo is Biden's fault, even if Biden wasn't involved. What happened to the America of our forefathers?

That's why the 🍊 and his minion created that incident in the oval office to prevent President Zelenskyy from signing the original minerals deal, so the thugs can rewrite a completely different version to extort as much from 🇺🇦 as possible.

Yes, "we" know this very well (the gangster part of it). This is of course the reason that Trump and his gang of morons prefer to believe the lies and disinformation from Putlers mafia gang instead of trying to find the truth.

Well, we will write the agreement on the back of The Budapest memorandum. That will do. Sign the deal, secure Ukraine, break the deal. Screw Trump. Ukraine will join the EU; as we are only there “to screw the US”. So we will screw him.

The ace up Zelenskyy’s sleeve is that 82% of Ukrainians want to fight until they get a just peace even without the USA. Zelenskyy keeps delaying the minerals deal and I think he will continue to do so, he is keeping the aid coming while not giving Ukraine’s future away to a shyster.

Just as with military and financial the bulk of the effect of sanctions is due to European efforts, not US. There are severely inflated numbers on US aid. But, yes. As long as he does not actually commit to anything kicking the can is a good strategy.

Russia mostly trades with Europe, but the sanctions on firms that still deal with Russia - which are Chinese and Indian oil traders - are mostly enforced by the US is my understanding.
