There is no "fight another day" in the lives of those who care about what's behind them, because their bravery and courage are their only motivation. 6/

The point: Modern wars are rarely won through the use of mercenaries or private companies. They have a supporting role. Sovereign states and national militaries remain the decisive force in winning full-scale modern wars. 7/end

Members of a nation's regular armed forces understand that survival depends on discipline, unit cohesion, loyalty, and complete conviction, and answer to a chain of command of a sovereign government's military. 4/

Contract mercenaries answer to private employers, corporations, or whoever pays their contract. A mercenary's reality is about contract alignment. A member of a nation's army's reality is about fighting for their home, family, or country. 5/

Mercenaries, (not to be confused with morally motivated volunteers or forced troops by fascist leaders) do not fight with the same conviction, and we should never forget that their primary motivation is financial compensation. They are paid to fight, not to die for a flag. 2/

If the price of victory outweighs the chance of them spending the money they earned, they will be more inclined to withdraw, surrender, or negotiate. They often lack political and social attachment, and survival is necessary to collect the reward and secure future contracts. 3/

*Looks at protests around the world.* Seems to me that we must listen to what young people are rightly and bravely shouting from the rooftops and act on it.

Note to self: Stop adding sentences to your manuscript. You have reached the goal of keeping the word count below 120.000 for the first time in 6 books. Let's keep it that way. 😬

Turns out, the ChiRUSA virus, was such a great and accurate metaphor to use in my debut novel at the time. Link in bio.

Critical philosophical thought: What would the world look like if many accounts stopped posting and reposting every single statement made by senile and insane world leaders, and instead paid a bit more attention to what is happening in other countries? 1/

In any case, at least don’t call yourself a "media source" or a "journalist," just call yourself a "reposter" or an "outrage-monger," or something. 2/

My mind is still in the forest, my body is at work, and my heart is with the people suffering from the geopolitical developments. Anyway, I'm "busy" editing...,

Hidden socialism, as a twisted solution to incompetence, cleverly exposed in the language of common sense.

I don’t understand why farmers need an endless series of welfare payments from the rest of us since Trump took office. Aren’t his policies working for you? You need us to pay you so you will keep voting for the guy who is failing you? Don’t you believe in free market capitalism?

It's good to share this fact so openly, and he is well within his rights to use it to play the US and Europe off against each other on trust issues, to secure future developments. The US is compromised. Look up, or make up a manual, and act on it.

❗️Zelensky says the Pentagon is delaying interceptor missiles already paid for by Ukraine’s partners. New Patriot batches await Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s approval, while European partners also need US authorization to transfer interceptors. Hegseth is playing with lives. #Ukraine

"Anything flying faster than 100 miles per hour will lose signal. The Ukrainian side wasn't informed about this limitation and in the process lost several missions." 🤬

While Russia struck the CHP-4 power station in Kyiv, Ukraine, last night and in doing so once again violated the inexistent energy truce, Starlink has been throttled over Ukraine.

Mourn every day for the innocent people on all sides of every border, in any country, who, to this very day, continue to be killed without those responsible, or those with the power to stop it, being held accountable.

Editing chapter 7: Time to casually let the philosopher explain why the Hollowbles are who they are. Naturally, there is no connection whatsoever to reality or to any specific group of people. 😬 Emberglen Island - Refuge from the Hollowbles. Coming soon! Egan:
