😀 Perchlorate, which is (I think) widely used in the snaps, is a serious issue because it directly affects the thyroid. Mostly in the context of rocket fuel rather than crackers! Nonetheless, I do not really want it in my environment.

(My comment on overkill assumes it's genuine, by the way; it'd be very easy to mock up something like that to stoke this tedious culture war. But my general comment on environmentalism stands.)
