There are some ways of being that we see in other people that we just don't understand at all, and in some cases it even makes us uncomfortable, and you wouldn't fucking believe how easy it is to just mind your own business and get on with your own life about it without making it everyone's problem.

A friend of mine was in a band that opened for the Proclaimers at Bottom of the Hill in SF. They showed up with an enormous tour truck with enough gear for a stadium, and it's a club that holds a max of about 350 people.

It really costs nothing to give people rights and basic human decency. Most people will go their whole lives without even meeting a trans person. Realize your personal opinion or beliefs on something don't actually matter, because it's a thing that has absolutely no real impact on your life.

This would make a great fake ad! Losing relevance? Career need a boost? Want people talking about you again? Try Transphobia™! Side effects may include being a hateful prick, losing your wife, kids, and friends, and being offered a $3M Netflix special called "Oh No, I've Been Canceled!"
