it's funny to me that Bezos (and Ellison) have all the money in the world but they're incapable of creating useful, well-crafted right wing agitprop that at least respects your time CBS News is trash, WAPO Op/Ed section reads like a children's book written by a developmentally disabled mongoose

It’s quite unrealistic for most people to even become a millionaire, or half a millionaire, in their entire lifetimes. Sure, don’t say it’s impossible. But it’s unlikely. Billionaires are a freak of tax policy nature.

I spent the 1990s checking out how a series of rich individuals got their money. Every one I dug into was a scammer, monopolist or criminal. These included Mark Shapiro, Paul Mears, David Siegel and Congressman John Mica.

No wonder why people are paying respects to the late Ted Turner (despite being indirectly responsible for a bunch of domino effects that lead to the hell we’re currently living in…)

The hit piece they wrote eulogizing the Left Coast the other day was equally bad. Just indistinguishable from a random far right blog circa 2008 these days.

Even bad right wing slop agitprop is still right wing agitprop. The Nazis started out amateur hour as well. Current US billionaires have a lot more data and resources to iterate and ‘improve’ their agitprop with quickly.

but remember that something like half US Americans can’t even read above a fifth grade reading level so they don’t need to create better propaganda for them because most folks would not understand it anyway

Just nut up and say the slur if you're just going to mock the same people regardless. So many words for fuckwit and you're struggling with the semantic treadmill on the slowest speed.

The fact that their agitprop reads as obvious bunk to those it does not convince doesn't mean it's not well-crafted. Many successful ideas seem obviously stupid to people who don't believe them. This has included ideas that were brilliant and revolutionary, as well as ideas that actually were stupid

Perhaps it is more just about capturing the institution so it can no longer fulfill its intended purpose more than actually being good at it. I think Ellison knew Bari would fail at CBS, but that was the point. And gaining Trump’s favor.
