i'm really proud of this policy. it's not perfect, but i think it's close to the best that was possible given all the constraints. i'm excited that this will make things easier for mods and reviewers, and hopeful that it will spark change in Rust's governance. blog.rust-lang.org/inside-rust/...

This is such a great write-up. Seriously, really really good work. I hope it can inspire other open source projects that have been grappling with the same issues to adopt *a* policy even if it’s not exactly the same as this one. I’ll be linking so many people to this blog post! 😅

Good job stewarding this through - it can't have been easy. Also, wise to put "The policy affects the following groups of people" up front.

This is a fantastic policy! It codifies exactly how I utilize LLM’s (and why I think other approaches are more problematic) far better than I’ve been able to articulate! 👏 I’m looking forward to learning Rust

There is a lot to be proud of! Taking a stand with benevolent dictatorship is not easy - and walking the line with consensus doubly so. I am sure this will be inspiration for other projects ! Thank you !
