Great video, I still find my self going to twitter but less and less. Also I think after being on 🦋 for a week the crazy number of ads on twitter is even more noticeable.

Hey Justin, regarding the last part about how bsky feels less salesy than X, is that really a product of the platform or is it because maybe you've learned how to filter those contacts?

I feel given enough time Bluesky will become more salesy. Tis the nature of things when an app reaches critical mass I think.

Maybe a bit of that, but I think there’s been a deliberate vibe shift here: even folks that were posting that stuff on X have been happy to come here and just chill and enjoy it.

Great overview Justin, learned a lot from this. It's deceptive that BlueSky looks similar to X — but so much under the hood and in the philosophy/psychology. Certainly a very differetn energy over here.

Thanks for sharing, Justin. Yes, recently I noticed how the Twitter algorithm provoked all the “best” qualities in me—it became painful to write recently. While on Bluesky, I can just write whatever—a breath of fresh air. I hope it will last.
