2. Started running paid ads. It is early to tell about the results, but it is costly. I like that I can experiment and get feedback fast. And also trying a new format of updates? An unpolished/unscripted video, with pauses and filler words trimmed.

GPT 6 Astra (Max) went to change things not related to the task I gave it at all and not once. I asked it to improve my landing page Lighthouse score, but it went and changed a documentation navigation label from “Go” to “Go SDK” 😆 What is that? Why?

However, it does feel more nuanced in planning and reasoning. Currently, seems for me to stay productive it is better to plan and resolve complex issues with Astra, but execute with Sol.

“I want to become an indie hacker.” Congratulations, my friend! You have a huge problem now. Because you define an identity label that you don’t understand, and the definition of which depends on social media algorithms. You will not make it and will suffer a lot.

I realized it is better to think in specific things or in verbs: “I want to build a profitable business by making this specific type of customer happy, which will allow me to read books in the mornings and have walks with my friends whenever I want.”

And when you define it like that. Suddenly, labels don’t matter. Founder, entrepreneur, or solopreneur: it all doesn’t matter. Just do the thing.

If I deployed that to production without a code review, my database would be in outage and my API would have downtime. Agents write a few lines of code that run queries against the database in a loop on a hot path because they don't "see" and "understand" what they do.

Of course, it can be prevented with performance tests. But there is always one more thing to check to ensure that agents produce safe and performant code, and you might not notice it. You can't foresee everything.

Founders invent explanations of their wins and overall success which often doesn't reflect reality. And I do that, too. It is a human nature. One of the benefits of building in public is that retrospectively I can double check my own current narratives.

For example, I believe that positioning made a ten times difference in my MRR: from $3.5K to $35K. I check my posts: 1. I had a slow growth and didn't know who were my customers. 2. I realized who I can target and how. I made a bet and went all-in. 3. I have faster growth.

Of course, there is a lot more to the story: I worked on churn, marketing and so on. But without understanding my ICP, it would be a tough challenge to improve the product and market it. Double checking with agents searching my public posts:

1. Educate yourself and work on yourself to be a better human. 2. Educate your kids and give them an example on how to behave. 3. Support people who create and build better future. A better future cannot be imposed from the top down, it has to be built from the bottom up.

"The only real revolution is in the enlightenment of the mind and the improvement of character, the only real emancipation is individual, and the only real revolutionaries are philosophers and saints." And they knew what they were talking about.

My addiction to social media is much more severe than I expected and it is painful to admit. Like I am a weak person and can’t control myself. But, yes, it is what it is then

I tried to post less and reply less and it helped. However, I discovered one problem. Friends launching products, sharing news and jokes with links to socials. And they want to discuss that.

I see among many of my friends that their productivity is zero or even negative with AI. I suspect that... If you vibecoded 10 or even 100 half-baked side projects and never shipped them to production, never found users, didn't polish them, and abandoned them, AI didn't make you more productive.

Creating something great takes time and requires your dedication, focus, and effort. And the reward is not only the result but the work itself and the person you become. It didn't change.

I see among many of my friends that their productivity is zero or even negative with AI. I suspect that... If you vibecoded 10 or even 100 half-baked side projects and never shipped them to production, never found users, didn't polish them, and abandoned them, AI didn't make you more productive.

You are stuck in the mud, dragging it around and getting dirty. You are doing nothing at the end of the day. You ask yourself, what is the point? Of course, there is no point.

We are still too early for courses on coding with AI and established approaches to code review, including whether it should be done at all. It might take more than a year to understand what works best and what happens to software built by those who stopped reviewing code.

Bruce Lee once said: Don't fear those competitors who are vibe coding their support chat to save $29 a month and do the same with 10,000 other tools. But pay attention to those who spend that time making their core product 10,000 times better.

Even if a trillionaire wanted to sell their wealth and share the money with the world, they wouldn’t be able to do it. Imagine trying to sell the stock of a trillion-dollar company.

There wouldn’t be enough buyers at the current price, and dumping that many shares onto the market would quickly drive the price down. Their wealth is the market value of the ownership they hold in what they have built.

I am sorry, if I less respond less recently to DMs, replies and emails. The more emails I reply to and the faster I do it, the faster people reply back. And in general, the more work I do, the more work comes to me. I don't understand how to get out of this cycle.

I am lucky and grateful that I have all these support tickets, great people to chat with and work to do, but I want to stop and breathe at least for some time.

ScreenshotOne is now officially a member of opensourcepledge.com. The pledge will help me be more systematic and intentional about supporting open-source maintainers and projects I value and want to see thrive. If you run a software company that relies on open source, consider joining too.

For ScreenshotOne customers, n8n and agents often serve different use cases. In an n8n workflow, ScreenshotOne is a predefined step in a known, repeatable process. For an agent, ScreenshotOne is a tool it may choose to use while completing a more open-ended task, such as research or exploration.

There is some overlap, of course, and they can complement each other: n8n workflows can include agents, and agents can trigger n8n workflows.

If all your work is to copy a support ticket or a task from your product manager to Codex and then deploy the result to production, someone will notice and remove you to iterate faster. It is a short-term intelligence arbitrage. It can’t last forever. Find ways to add value.

“Why pay $29/month for a SaaS if I can vibecode it and host on Hetzner?” Hetzner raises prices a bit. “Maintaining infrastructure is a distraction from running my business, and I value my time. Buying SaaS is underrated.”

I challenge their assumptions about how the world works often. We hike and travel. Play together. And learn history, geography, and much more. But I try to be intentional and focused in a few areas of their life. How do you approach that?

* Compete. With sports. To learn to win and lose. * Mathematics. To have analytical and critical thinking. * Reading books. To learn from the best. To train imagination. To sustain focus for long periods. Of course, there is a lot more to life than that:
