Would you still recommend it over Electron?

Hard to say, I used electron recently after many years and is much better that before, especially with Vite based solutions, the perf and mem usage argument is a running joke more then a real problem nowadays tbh

You still have a 200Mb bundle with Electron unfortunately

Not something I would lose sleep on, unless you release 10 times a day, (terrible UX for a desktop app anyway)
