Imagine believing, like seriously being convinced, that the Internet used to be more colorful than it is today (and, on top, showing *those* apps as evidence.) Had to double check that the account is not satire. (Of course this is from a guy hysterically ranting about "AI slop" on Mastodon)

One of the things I actually quite like about AI web design is that it veers sharply *away* from the modern tendency towards “grey with a little bit of blue”. Left to its own devices, it’ll do beiges, dark greens, reds, purples — but rarely a generic blue-on-white!

Im actually curious about what ai made sites he’s looking at because at least from what I’ve seen the kind of high contrast colorful design you’re describing is the hallmark of “Claude did this without any real user input”
