Cyan was doing a bunch of AI stuff in Firmament, especially with the journals you could read. The backlash seems to have scared them off but I still look at them sideways. All that said, they should be making MYST games.

yeah that sucks because the handcrafted detail IS why cyan games are so good but at least they never touched it again. hope rand took that to heart
