For the first time in 15+ years, unsheltered homelessness is dropping in California thanks to efforts on housing, care, and accountability. We're keeping our momentum going with another $291M for local leaders to create more supportive housing and boost mental health services.

I hope this statistic does not include the disgusting tent cities where many unhoused people in San Diego are being “housed”. These are not a solution. CA has a tremendous amount of people with great wealth. Tax the rich, exponentially.

Compassion for the homeless by creating housing for them & providing them with mental health opportunities goes a long way in showing the American people you will be ready to lead the country in 2028. ✔️ Mark this off your To Do List of Compassion Caring for the American people. Thank you.

Not sure what this means but people need homes not shelters. The problem is financialization-start by curbing rents, raising the minimum wage, fining vacancies, and building public housing.

@governor.ca.gov I applaud what you and your administration are doing. This is governing. Re: mental health. You cannot successfully address mental health and substance abuse without first securing stable housing long term for someone needing those services. Housing security is foundational.

Have you tried a contest for companies 3d printing homes, using land like California city, and adding shuttle or train lines to the 3 closest cities? There are cheaper solutions than what California is doing now. Get some out of the box thinkers... Or you could give them a bus ticket to Florida.

Well according to Michelle Tafoya, any given day 28%of Californians are homeless. That's about 12 million Californians running around being homeless. 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️😆😆😆😆
