I tend to wiggle my feet. Since most chairs are an inch or so too high, it means my feet aren't usually on the floor...

As a compulsive and nearly constant knuckle crack-er I know how much it irritates people and is like physically painful to some. I try to get them out of the way before I enter the room at this point.
