No, I do not agree with this opinion and I think it’s very bad that many Americans seem to think (incorrectly) that our privacy is already hopelessly compromised by evil tech companies and the government, and that there’s no point in fighting back.

Didn't DOGE basically walk off with hard drives full of our data? Not saying it's hopeless, but a lot of cats have been let out of that bag.
