Trump on DC: "Nobody wanted to eat out. They were afraid. Even if you were in the restaurant, people would walk in and like the Wild West, 'Hold it up!' Everybody is standing there. Can you imagine? A fancy restaurant. They were robbing the whole restaurant. It's crazy."

So many things he says make more sense. If you start from the thesis that his brain stopped working in 1989, and that even then, he thought a lot of 80s movies or documentaries He’s just the most stereotypical, fearful, dumb racist

Trump: "In Washington, all the restaurants were closing. People were being held up. They'd walk into a restaurant. Like Jesse James. 'Stand up! Give us all your money.' They're eating dinner at a fancy restaurant. All the restaurants were closing."

Trump on Washington DC: "They used to go in and rob the restaurants. You wouldn't feel safe in a restaurant. It was like the old Wild West -- they'd say, 'Sick 'em up. Give me your money.' The whole restaurant is handing them money."
