That was pretty much the audience reaction when Seal was only "warming up" years ago when I was there during the filming of the Disney Christmas special at WDW. At one point, he asked the producers if they wanted a "Kiss from a Rose" type performance and the crowd absolutely lost their minds.

I was recently playing a 90s pop trivia game and one of the questions included a bit of lyric and i immediately answered "Seal". Everyone was like, who wut now? And then i sang a bit of the song while I was awarded my points. seal was foundational for me for a bit there. 😅

You need to fit in a bat-shot every x number of seconds to remind everyone this is from Batman. It's the same way Warren Beatty pretended to be Dick Tracy in 2020 to keep the copyright.

I think the funniest part is that is Val Kilmer in that film. After Shoemaker took over he didn’t use Keaton anymore so he gave Iceman a shot. Apparently according to his next film he likes Ice men ;)

So this is the greatest song that ever been made, objectively. My future wife and I at the time (+all our closest friends) got obsessed with it for years, so when we got married they secretly told the DJ to blast it and the dance floor ERUPTED with all us singing it, loud as we could. Seal, the 🐐

Oh man this song was absolutely inescapable in the US during a certain part of the 90’s, it’s a great song but I think it has taken me thirty years to get over hearing it constantly
