Be sure to check who you block. I noticed on lists I've seen so far are a mix of obvious trolls at the beginning and decent peeps mixed in with sock accounts further down. Just cuz they can't read doesn't mean we make it easy on'em. Network, organize, dominate, crush them into oblivion!

One thing I have learned about social media ... lots of low-information dumb people on it think that well-informed intelligent people need to spend their time arguing with them, when the intelligent and well-informed people know that this is just a complete waste of their time and energy.

Yeah, this is why I always double check lists. I either want them to be extremely specific or actively pruned.

At least one of those MAGA accounts is satire (unless Trump really did refer to his picks as his “junk drawer, I mean cabinet” which is entirely plausible at this point).

I think false positives are fine when it's just blocking people. it's not like this condemns anyone to prison

I generally use lists to mute, and use block as "I personally have verified that I don't want to see posts from this account." It's a compromise I find helpful.

Be careful with block lists. the people who run them have full control over who goes on them with no level of accountability

You can mute lists, too; that can be handy if you want to check people individually before blocking them, but would rather not see the majority of them while you check.

I noticed the same thing. This list is being abused

There's a people catching strays, if they have anti-maga or such they are being swept up in block lists. I would say if you notice that let the blocklist/target account know
