Curious with how achievable it would be to adapt to other consoles such as the Wonderswan Color and the SwanCrystal. I've been reversing the Crystal so it's top of mind for me right now. IPS available on Ali etc but appreciate the open source approach.

I had a look at some low-res photos of the PCBs of the WonderSwan, WS Color, and SwanCrystal. At first glance, I couldn't find much information about the display signals in particular, apart from what is available from the aforementioned consolizer projects, as mentioned by @asie.pl.

From what I can see, it looks like we have digital signaling on all of the consoles (it doesn't look like analog RGB). From my point of view, it would be worth tinkering around with the consoles and writing some documentation about the signals and signal levels.

There’s also a good chance that the Open xGB Display could be adapted for the WSx. Maybe an additional buffer is required for the parallel columns, along with a level shifter for the signals.

The Color is well documented thanks to the existence of multiple consolizer/display capture projects on GitHub. The SwanCrystal less so, but given the only benefit of the SC over the WSC is the screen, and it is much less common, people recommend modding WSCs instead.
