This is a grand achievement, but I am a sucker for a fun, thematic, actionable rule for deciding who goes first. Hard to use in RPGs, but great in board games. Bangers include “player who last saw a pigeon”, “player who most recently visited an island” and “player who has most recently been sick”.

Thank you! Super interesting and I think it does indeed deserve a huge sculpture, if only because the story is about the humanity of mathematics in multiple senses.

Yes!! Go first dice!! I have a store link for them on my wishlist- I learned about this work from a design diary for a board game that built off the math done here for an entirely different implementation on the same concepts that removed randomness. Extremely cool stuff
