I have a terrible feeling I'm going to be back to bouncing around jobs for a few years until I find the now elusive "actually give a shit" engineers and not "shit things out" loosers.

It's a very hard balance to strike currently given that the role is transforming into a very product-y one when it's viewed by folks in more managerial positions
