Post

I felt the same things you mention in your post. The 1st thing I cried about was how sad everyone was going to be around me for the foreseeable future. Waiting for surgery was agonizing. But day by day, you get through it. It gets a little bit less scary. Your village figures out what you need.

Thank you so much for the support, kind words and for letting me know about Immerman Angels. I am glad to hear that you’re cancer free. That put a smile on my face. 💙

Damn, brother. I'm in tears. I'm so sorry to read this. Your family sounds amazing and we're here for you as well. I know you've touched many people in the 100devs community and we're all rooting for you, dude. Cancer sucks but you're a badass. You got this! Sending you all the best vibes, Sam.

I appreciate you bro. Thank you so much. I’m going to be in the hospital for a little while while I recover from the surgery but everything went well. Hopefully better days are ahead. Much love.

Just read your article and wow the Whipple procedure is intense, that's going to suck to deal with relearning how to digest food (esp without your gallbladder) AND then deal with chemo. HUG Hoping they caught it early enough because of the random other infection that the cancer decides to f off.

Oh Ghibs it is intense! The good news is the surgery is in the past now. I’m in a ton of pain but it’s a small price to pay I guess. I appreciate you buddy. 🙏🏽

My aunt passed from pancreatic cancer. Only 36. I feel for you. Take care of yourself and you have the thoughts and prayers of the 100Devs family with you my friend

Wishing you a successful surgery and a speedy (well as speedy as 6 months of chemo can be) recovery. Looking forward to reading more of your posts when you are up to writing them.
