You can! Being in a band is great, Good luck

I can relate to this so much. Looking at mosaics, I’m like “oh that’s a clever design” and then “lemme try that!” 🤓

who are your favorite drummers to watch now that you’ve been learning? has anyone done something that you wanted to immediately learn how to do? you should go for it, bands always looking for drummers

I do this with a lot of electronic music too, just thinking about how it’s arranged and how/what I’d use for each track/instrument. Music is fun, you should do it

No way you could find other people who want to be in a band in … *checks notes* … San Francisco. 😐

Yes!!!

Do it do it do it. Learning to play an instrument is one thing, learning to play with others is something else completely and makes it soooo much better

don't underestimate yourself. the two key skills for a drummer IMO (bass player and keyboard player) are playing in time + knowing and keeping the tempo. (plus knowing where the breaks are and how the song ends i guess).

Do it! You will be surprised what you need additionally, and it will improve your skills. Oh, and it's real fun to make music with friends, can recommend, 10/10!
