What does Montana do if the say they will stay after graduation, and then leave after graduation? Are they going to check every student? What if the got a job out of state? Shouldn't this apply to EVERY voter? You can't leave if you want to vote in MT.

As someone who went to college in Montana, this insanity tracks for the state. I guess that is what you get when more cows than people reside in that state.

I fled right after graduation and moved to Denver for a few years because the amount that jobs in Missoula couldn't pay a wage that would cover the cost of living. I wouldn't have even finished college there without fam in TX helping financially.

Right, because the state wants the money having these out state students bring, but doesn’t want the evolved thinking that comes from living in other places interfering with their small minded political landscape.

Reminder: Voting illegally has not occurred in numbers anywhere near frequently enough to have an affect on election outcome. That is a cover story. Just as DOGE cutting waste was a pretext to steal every single resident's personal data (which could be with the UAE by now, who knows).

>> So, are they going to require Montana residents to promise they'll never move out of state? Does anyone check the Constitutionality of proposed legislation anymore? What about the right to travel? <<

As a voter in Montana I am so frustrated and pissed off about this! What the hell! This essentially keeps these students from voting anywhere. It’s hard enough picking a major you want them to know where they are going to live after graduation??
