In reading the decision, the thing that struck me was that they ruled that in times of war, POTUS can impose tariffs. Guess that's why Trump's gonna "war" on Iran.

I am thinking about the long term effects of the Supreme Court decision on CUSMA. Will this mean that any renegotiation of CUSMA has to be approved by Congress and not just Trump? I feel that this is what Carney was counting upon. Congress knows that US needs Canada. Trade goes both ways.
