At what point are devs working for AAA studios the real suckers here? Labor power is the only thing that could possibly prevent this. Unionize or fail imo

ah yes let’s minimize actual victims by comparing them to professional artists that voluntarily joined a hostile business environment with a proud history of exploiting artists

Union girlie here - unionizing a studio takes time, and campaigns have to be TOP SECRET until they're ready to file with the NLRB else risk getting busted. For all you know, devs could be working to unionize at any given AAA studio, so please refrain from punching down to retain solidarity. Ty!

buddy you're doing this unironically trust me, there are a lot of AAA devs trying their hardest to unionize. and even if they weren't, what do you propose they do instead? quit en masse and... give up on their careers? ain't like anyone is funding new studios at any scale.

I’m literally playing a game made by devs that left a AAA studio right now (blood of the Dawnwalker) so yes quit and start new studios
