And sure enough, he's a social studies teacher. I am so moved and reminded of the honors social studies teacher I had back in 2005. He told me I would be someone who stood and fought if fascism were to rise again. I've no idea how he saw that in me, but I've been trying to live up to it ever since.

Not everywhere ☹️! We didn’t get any town hall meetings in our area! I called on the day before they were scheduled to be back in our area, meaning that they should’ve had one or two meetings scheduled, but out of 2 representatives and the Sen (who I don’t blame) we got nothing.

Yes when it comes to security of executive branch buildings, fed law enforcement has more authority than members of congress. You see it as encouraging people because you support Dems. The people who we need to win over would see it as us violently trying to overthrow the government

A mini dictator was elected to lead our State a few decades ago. He passed a law which would fine protestors. The day after the law was passed, the teachers union organised a mass walk out. As they couldn't arrest us all, no fines were issued and the law was never enforced.
