I will never understand Cody Rhodes’ babyface appeal. He’s never not felt like he’s acting disingenuous (setting up a heel turn), or in denial about being unlikeable. And yet, fed fans ate him up like conservatives who didn’t realize Homelander was the bad guy.

WWE has consciously decided to aim their product at children and Cody looks like a GI Joe. He's corny, he's hokey, he's simple, but he's got bright eyes and a good smile. He's uncomplicated and one-dimensional but thats the appeal, he's basically Cena but more telegenic.
