The coming Blue Wave and the excitement surrounding it are likely what caused the GOP to go into high gear with gerrymandering. They are so afraid of the wrath of the citizens they will do anything to stop the Democrats.

I would urge people to not underestimate the Republican's ability to outmaneuver election laws and cheat most effectively along with their united racist front that always motivates them to unite as election days draw near.

Dems do better when they believe they're losing. And the deck is even more stacked against us than it was before.

Gerrymandering actually risks backfiring on the Republican party because to create more R districts, they have to dilute safer R seats, which could put them in play.

We need: multi-member (3 reps) districts with ranked-choice voting. Apply cube-root rule to expand the House to ~700 seats.

You are spot on. Republicans also enjoy the support of many conservative activists who treat campaigns as blood sport. They treat elections as desperate rites of survival against racial diversity and equality. Dems don't have that kind of fanatical support and no strategy to overcome it.

I really don't give a shit what republicans think. They have proven they are undependable and their loyalty is to their party and not the country. Never, ever depend on a conservative or people who have made their identity not voting.

At 30 percent approval if it’s not a blue wave and having won elections in districts Dems don’t win then it will be very evident of cheating ( so this is where the trap lies though because we try to prove that elections are sound it puts us looking like them if we question it)

CNN featured a poll today that only has a three point lead for Dems on the generic ballot. Expecting many Americans to vote rationally where Trump is concerned doesn’t have a great track record.
