I have talked to many MAGA people. Their reason for following maga is always one or more of the following: they hate people different from them and want them to suffer for being different. They want to steal money (either directly or by having the power to avoid consequences)

They are traitor's to this country & should be treated as such. When they all lose their jobs & can't find work, they'll get theirs. When their children & grandchildren suffer because of their idiocy, they'll get theirs! It's just a matter of time. I hope they all lose everything they hold dear.
