NEW: Flock just announced several operational changes to try to stem the nationwide backlash against its mass surveillance system — but we aren't fooled. What about all the HOAs that installed flock cameras? Do they fall under this announcement? Many HOAs provide access to private security companies and directly to law enforcement.

Flock cameras are taking the place of the squad car sitting behind the billboard with a radar gun. In other words, City govts don't have to hire as many police, it cuts down on their payroll. It also cuts down on having to actually connect with other police depts to share info.

They made lots of changes, like adding wearables tracking, microphones to listen, among other devices. I still say no to these cameras. This is just a way to calm people down but they’re not telling people about the expanded features. Hell no!
