Terra Ignota: what a series. I need time to unpack what I've read and space to discuss it. It's also... so weighty and personal that I'm not comfortable dumping my partially-crystalized thoughts on the public internet. And that's before how spoiler-adjacent a lot of what I want to discuss is.

I hadn’t spotted this was off the back of you finishing Terra Ignota! It remains my favourite book series (multiple read through by now!) They are truly outstanding, and my reading throughput has gone through the floor since finishing them, as nothing else hits the same! 😅

I genuinely think I see Distance as a true Enemy now, in just the ways the books describe.

"Old Enemy Distance...", with such a rich connection to ancient anxiety and diety... Chills.

As in: specifically groups of people reading a given book together? I’m not yet, but I’d definitely make use of such a lexicon! (Should we be building a shared “this book is in my reading list/want to read list/personal collection/*book club*/other list” lexicon?)
