People need to abolish the concept that nothing beyond their four walls matter. It does, and you need to both confront and speak to it.

Troops have both the right and the duty to disobey unlawful orders. This is a necessary aspect of serving the Constitution and the laws of the land. While orders carry a presumption of lawfulness, a president arguing unlawful orders must be followed suggests unlawful intent.

My father, whom I never knew, earned a Silver Star in Korea. All four of his brothers served in combat. He drank himself to death. The entire family was affected by alcoholism. Some gave it up before it killed them, but an entire generation was crippled. They fought against fascism.

I was raised as a Catholic from birth, but by the time I hit 1st grade, I was out. I became confirmed to get married in the church as an adult, and was amazed that they confirmed me (had they not, a divorce wouldn't have happened!). That said, I like what the new Pope has to say.

What other species has to build weapons of mass destruction to manage itself? We really are Earth's most invasive species. We need to reevaluate that somehow.

To the top brass in the military, oath and duty are huge. I don't see them walking away from either, and hope Trump gets to see what it's like to have the United States military fight the enemy within. I thought the Judiciary would be our savior. But it's really coming down to these guys.

What must be going through the minds of career military, who take an oath not to the President, but to the Constitution? I wonder if anyone is thinking of staging a coup, getting rid of the enemy, and turning it back over to the people with a lesson?

I think we need to test their capabilities, and peacefully turn out in such numbers that mowing us down would be, I can’t even fathom it… but they’re making me have to think about it.
